ਵਡਹੰਸੁ ਮ ੫ ॥

वडहंसु मः ५ ॥

Wadahans, Fifth Mehl:

ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪੂਰਾ ॥

antarajaamee. so prabh pooraa |

अंतरजामी. सो प्रभु पूरा ॥

God is perfect - He is the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts.

ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੈ।

ਦਾਨੁ ਦੇਇ ਸਾਧੂ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਾ ॥੧॥

daan dee. saadhoo kee dhooraa |1|

दानु देइ. साधू की धूरा ॥१॥

He blesses us with the gift of the dust of the feet of the Saints. ||1||

(ਜਦੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀਸ਼ (ਵਜੋਂ) ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥

kar kirapaa prabh deen deaalaa |

करि किरपा प्रभ दीन दइआला ॥

Bless me with Your Grace, God, O Merciful to the meek.

ਹੇ ਦੀਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ) ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ।

ਤੇਰੀ ਓਟ ਪੂਰਨ ਗੋਪਾਲਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉੁ ॥

तेरी ओट पूरन गोपाला ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

I seek Your Protection, O Perfect Lord, Sustainer of the World. ||1||Pause||

ਹੇ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ! ਹੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ-ਪਾਲਕ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰੇ ॥

jal thal maheeal; rahiaa bharapoore |

जलि थलि महीअलि; रहिआ भरपूरे ॥

He is totally pervading and permeating the water, the land and the sky.

ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ, ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ, ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ, ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਜ਼ੱਰੇ ਜ਼ੱਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ,

ਨਿਕਟਿ ਵਸੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦੂਰੇ ॥੨॥

nikatt vasai; naahee prabh doore |2|

निकटि वसै; नाही प्रभु दूरे ॥२॥

God is near at hand, not far away. ||2||

ਉਹ (ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਦੇ) ਨੇੜੇ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ॥੨॥

ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਸੋ ਧਿਆਏ ॥

jis no nadar kare. so dhiaae |

जिस नो नदरि करे. सो धिआए ॥

One whom He blesses with His Grace, meditates on Him.

ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੇਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,

ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ॥੩॥

aatth pehar har ke gun gaae |3|

आठ पहर हरि के गुण गाए ॥३॥

Twenty-four hours a day, he sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||3||

ਤੇ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅੱਠੇ ਪਹਿਰ (ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥

ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਗਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਰੇ ॥

jeea jant sagale pratipaare |

जीअ जंत सगले प्रतिपारे ॥

He cherishes and sustains all beings and creatures.

ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਸਰਨਿ ਪਰਿਓ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਦੁਆਰੇ ॥੪॥੪॥

saran pario naanak; har duaare |4|4|

सरनि परिओ नानक; हरि दुआरे ॥४॥४॥

Nanak seeks the Sanctuary of the Lord's Door. ||4||4||

ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੀ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ) ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੪॥
