ਸਤਿਨਾਮੁ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ॥

ਸਤਿਨਾਮੁ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਨਾਮ। ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾ ਕਦੇ ਬਦਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸੱਚ ਨਾਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਸ ਸੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਹੌਲੀ-ਹੌਲੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਉੱਠਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ॥

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਉਹ ਗੁਰਮੰਤਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਘੱਟ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਆਤਮਕ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
